- Secretary-General’s Press Conference, Thursday, 25 June, 12.15 pm (NY time)
The Secretary-General will launch the latest of his policy briefs The UN comprehensive response to COVID-19 and speak on UN75.
The press conference will be broadcast on UN Web TV.
The UN comprehensive response to COVID-19 brings together all the SG policy briefs on COVID-19 and sets out a forward-looking policy agenda to help governments and Member States address the consequences of the pandemic and protect the most vulnerable populations. It will provide the first comprehensive overview of the UN’s guidance on building back better as we enter a new critical phase of the crisis. This brief should be considered as a rolling document and will reflect that fact that more policy briefs will be published after its launch. The target audience is primarily Member States and opinion shaping media.
