7 May 2020 – Serbia: With funding from the European Union, UNOPS has delivered 100 stationary oxygen concentrators, which will help reduce COVID-19 mortality associated with low levels of oxygen in the blood. With funding from the European Union and the Kingdom of Norway, we have procured and delivered 40 out of 100 intensive care monitors, with the remaining 60 expected soon.
7 May 2020 – North Macedonia: In support of the European Union’s assistance to the government’s COVID-19 response, UNOPS delivered 8,800 units of urgent medical supplies to an infectious disease clinic to help treat COVID-19 cases. These include pump systems, catheter sets, extension and infusion lines and syringes.
