In collaboration with the Geneva Graduate Institute, and on the occasion of World Environment Day, Ciné-ONU screened ‘River of Gold’
Narrated by Academy Award Winners Sissy Spacek and Herbie Hancock, River of Gold is the disturbing account of a clandestine journey into Peru’s Amazon rainforest to uncover the savage unravelling of pristine jungle.
The screening was followed by a discussion with:
- Ms Sarah DuPont, Film producer, President and Founder of the Amazon Aid Foundation
- Mr Charles Chaussepied, Former Director CSR and Corporate Affairs, Piaget, and Board Member of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
