On the occasion of Zero Discrimination Day, Ciné-ONU Geneva screened: “Doin’ My Drugs”
Born HIV+ in 1985, Danish musician Thomas Muchimba Buttenschøn is determined to use his music and his story to wipe out AIDS in his native Zambia and beyond.
The screening was followed by a discussion, “HIV: 40 years later, discrimination still kills” with:
- Thomas Muchimba Buttenschøn, singer and protagonist of the film
- Kevin Osborne, Executive Director of International AIDS Society
- Moderation by Charlotte Sector, UNAIDS
- Opening remarks by the film’s director, Tyler Rosen.
